Avondale's Staff
Our congregation is blessed to be staffed with a full-time minister and office manager. Together, they help to keep the day-to-day activities running efficient. Our staff members have office hours Tuesday - Friday, 9 am - 3 pm. You may contact us by phone at (404) 299-1475.

Eric Owens Eric is the full-time pulpit minister and a graduate from the Memphis School of Preaching (1992-94). He served as pulpit minister for Henrietta Avenue church of Christ (1994-97) and later received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Southern Christian University (2001). Eric is also the author of "So You Want To Be Happy?" - to view and purchase please visit www.elowens.com. He has not only served us in preaching, but also works in our evangelistic efforts by teaching the Fishers of Men courses, Tuesday Morning Bible Classes, holding personal Bible studies, and teaching Sunday morning and Wednesday night Bible classes. He offers pre-marital counseling for engaged couples and also provides counseling for married couples. |

DeLisa Carey DeLisa is responsible for managing Avondale's office. Office Manager involves: (1.) Managing the congregational calendar and events. (2.) Coordinating and managing resources that allows the congregation serve its member and the community. (3.) Communicating with elders, deacons, and other church supported organizations. |
